A Little About Me

Hey, my name is Caity and I'm the mama behind Moon Baby. I have two sons of my own who keep me busy! I enjoy being creative and using my hands and I have a background in hair styling.

I'm a believer that just because it's for a baby doesn't mean it needs to look childish. As moms we may feel we loose our individuality, but that doesn't have to be so.

The most practical gift I was given was a baby cover, but my son kept poking his sharp little fingers and toes through causing holes. It became worn and the holes grew so I decided to make my own. I chose to make Moon Baby covers from cotton knit so they would be more resilient than rayon.

 

I made the covers longer because my son liked to kick the cover off in the car seat, as well it accommodates older babies/toddlers when used for nursing.

 

Each cover is hand cut and sewn by me making each one unique. I love being able to make something beautiful yet practical and affordable.
